Q: When I tried to open a card that was emailed to me, I received an error message "Unexpected error". What happened?
A: Try copying and pasting the link from your email directly into your web browser's Address field. If the link has been broken onto two separate lines in your email, you'll need to paste both lines into the Address field as one line. It's also possible that the security setting of your email program is too high. Try adjusting the security settings or check with your email provider to learn more about security in your program.

We make it look as though the card is coming from the sender's email address when, in fact, it is being sent from our email server. When the address contained in the email's subject line and the sender's email address do not match, some email providers may interpret the discrepancy as a potential virus or security threat and delete the card from the email server. You may want to check with your system administrator or ISP to see if this is the case and if there is anything that can be done on their end to enable you and your recipients to send or receive cards from mycardmaker.

If you continue to experience problems, please use the help form to send us the link that you received in the email, and we'll work on solving the problem.

Q: When I tried to open one of my saved cards, the card wouldn't open. What's wrong?
A: It's possible that the card had its data corrupted when it was saved over the Internet. If you think this is the case, we recommend deleting the card and taking a minute to reproduce it. We're sorry for any inconvenience.
