Q:
What does "Sign me in automatically from this computer in the future" mean?
A: If you check the box labeled "Sign me in automatically from this computer" when you sign up, you won't have to sign in each time you return to mycardmaker. Sign in happens automatically whenever you visit mycardmaker.
Q:
Why doesn't my password work?
A: There are several reasons why you may be getting an error message when attempting to sign in, including:
- Caps Lock is on. Passwords are case sensitive (meaning that "PASSWORD," "PaSsWoRd," and "password" are not equivalent), so be sure to keep this in mind when entering your password. Turn Caps Lock off when signing in.
- Sign in with the wrong email address/password combination. If you have several email addresses, make sure that the email address you enter in the "Your Email Address" field is associated with the password you enter in the "Your Password" field.
- If you have forgotten your password, you can get it by clicking on the "Get my password" link above the "Your Password" field on the sign-in screen.
Q:
Why do I have to sign in to process my order?
A: Your account information tells us who you are and enables us to associate information about your purchases and your saved cards to your account. Signing in ensures that you are the only person that can access your account information and your custom cards.
If you would prefer to have the application sign you in automatically each time you visit the site, click on the "account ” button at the top of the page, check the box labeled “Sign me in automatically from this computer in the future" and click the "update" button. Thereafter, you won't need to sign in when you visit mycardmaker.
Q: When I try to sign in, I get a message that tells me to wait, but sign in does not occur. What's wrong?
A: This is usually a sign of network problems somewhere between your computer and our servers. If you're sure your internet connection is working well, please wait a few minutes and try again. If you continue to experience problems, please let us know.
Q: Automatic sign in did not happen, even though I selected the option to have mycardmaker sign me in automatically from my computer. What happened?
A: This is a known bug in the Flash plugin that we cannot fix, but we can offer a fix for you on your end. The way to correct this is to upgrade your Flash plugin to the latest version.
